BEIJING CHINA INVESTIGATION - The Seminole County Sheriff's Office has charged George Zimmerman with stalking after he allegedly threatened a private investigator. 

The sheriff's office conducted an investigation into allegations that Zimmerman, 34 years old, threatened and harassed Dennis Warren in December 2017.

 Zimmerman is known for the shooting and killing of teenager Trayvon Martin in Feb. 2012.

 According to documents, Warren told the sheriff's office he was requested to help find individuals who might have interest in participating in a documentary centered around the life of Martin and the incidents leading to his death.

 Warren said he left a voicemail and texted Zimmerman, asking if he wished to participate in the film.

 The producer of the film told Warren in December that Zimmerman had been sending him threats against himself and Warren.

 Warren said he began receiving direct communication from Zimmerman as well, including 21 phone calls, 38 text messages and 7 voicemails in just a two hour span.

 When a deputy advised Warren to respond to Zimmerman and tell him to stop the communication, Zimmerman allegedly responded, saying "I know how to handle people who **** with me, I have since February of 2012."

 Documents say Warren received a total of 55 phone calls, 67 text messages, 36 voicemails and 27 emails from Zimmerman between Dec. 16 and Dec. 25.

 A summons was served to Zimmerman on May 3. He is scheduled to appear for arraignment on May 30 at 9 a.m.
